The daily operational scope of CSSD ASSISTANT (BPS-07) involves executing specialized technical workflows within assigned university departments, maintaining rigorous safety and infection control standards, operating specialized machinery, maintaining equipment logs, and coordinating with faculty and clinical teams.

The candidate selection pathway comprises credential verification, followed by a 100-mark written screening examination covering core technical competencies and general knowledge, culminating in a selection committee interview.

• ✓Decontamination & Ultrasonic Washing: Clean, decontaminate, and inspect surgical and dental instruments using enzymatic detergents and ultrasonic baths.
• ✓Instrument Tray Assembly: Assemble surgical trays, verifying instrument counts, sharpness, and integrity before packaging in sterilization pouches.
• ✓Autoclave Cycle Operation: Load and operate high-pressure steam autoclaves according to validated time-temperature-pressure parameters.
• ✓Sterility Monitoring: Place and document chemical indicators and biological spore vials for every sterilization load.
• ✓Sterile Storage & Dispatch: Maintain climate-controlled sterile supply rooms and dispatch sterile instrument packs to dental clinics and ORs.
