Head Draftsman

Applications are invited for the position of Head Draftsman (BS-16) for 1 Post in Government of the Punjab with initial posting assigned across Headquarters' Office, Lahore. This creative and technical post plays a vital role in architectural design, spatial planning, structural ergonomics, and building code compliance.

Appointees as Head Draftsman formulate comprehensive building plans, evaluate structural blueprints, oversee interior design concepts, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality. Candidates are required to hold considered. ii) Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority. 08-RH/2026 01-Post (Open Merit). The role requires creative vision, advanced spatial design skills, and project management acumen.

Induction is conducted through a competitive evaluation of technical architectural portfolios, standardized screening examinations testing architectural design theory and building bylaws, followed by departmental expert interviews.

• ✓Master Planning & Design Conceptualization: Lead the architectural design process for institutional infrastructure, developing detailed blueprints and master layouts.
• ✓3D Modeling & Visualization: Create photorealistic 3D visual models, spatial renderings, and material presentations for executive review.
• ✓Statutory Code & Safety Adherence: Ensure all design schematics strictly conform to national building codes, seismic standards, and environmental regulations.
• ✓Inter-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical engineering teams to integrate building services seamlessly.
• ✓On-Site Architectural Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction execution aligns flawlessly with approved architectural specifications.
